One Year of Covenant Church!

Dear friends,

Exactly one year ago today, Covenant Church launched public Morning Worship and Evening Worship.

As you reflect back on the last year and your walk with God, what aspects of his love and faithfulness stand out to you?

When I think back over the last year, I'm struck by God's design. That God knew exactly the need for this church and exactly the people for this church. I'm so grateful to God for each one of you and the opportunities that we have weekly to gather in worship and to be in ministry together. And I'm excited for God's people in this place whom we haven't yet met, but who will one day, Lord willing, be a part of Covenant Church.

To God be the glory for his love for us, and his faithfulness. May Jesus Christ be praised!

"Last Sunday" Lunch

As we celebrate one year of public worship this Sunday, please make plans to stay immediately following the 10:00 AM Morning Worship service for our monthly "Last Sunday" lunch.

On the last Sunday of every month, Covenant Church enjoys a fellowship meal together.

This month, our theme is "breakfast food / brunch." The meal will be at our normal time following Morning Worship.

All are invited!

If able, please sign up to bring a side dish using the Google Doc below.

Sharing of God's Faithfulness

At 10:00 AM this Sunday, there's an opportunity to share with the church about what God has done in your life over this past year.

You can speak live, or with a pre-recorded message.

If you would like to share your testimony this Sunday, please let me know by calling or texting 818-237-4251. For planning purposes, it's important that I know by Friday this week if you would like to share.

Covenant Church Photos

I'm planning to play a slideshow of photos this Sunday from the past year. If you have photos of Covenant Church, please send them to me at 818-237-4251.

Hopes and Dreams

What are your hopes and dreams for what God might do in and through Covenant Church to reach this community with the gospel into the future? Please let me know!

Here's an article written just about a year ago:

200 Years of Covenant Church?
We’ll gather for the first time on a Sunday that’s not a “Preview service,” and not a “Launch Sunday,” but a regular Sunday of God’s people.

Thank you!

I look forward to celebrating with you this Sunday!
