Two Church Meals this Sunday

Two Church Meals this Sunday

And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” (Acts 2:42, ESV)

Dear friends,

There are two meals planned for this Sunday.

On the last Sunday of every month, Covenant Church enjoys a meal together for fellowship, connection, and mutual encouragement in the Lord.

All are invited for this free meal immediately following 10 AM Morning Worship.

Second, The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is planned for the PM!

I recently heard the Lord's Supper described as a family meal, and that's true. At this meal, the people of God who are brothers and sisters in Christ gather around the Lord's table for spiritual nourishment and growth in grace.

WSC Q. 96. What is the Lord’s supper?

A. The Lord’s supper is a sacrament, wherein, by giving and receiving bread and wine, according to Christ’s appointment, his death is showed forth; and the worthy receivers are, not after a corporal and carnal manner, but by faith, made partakers of his body and blood, with all his benefits, to their spiritual nourishment, and growth in grace.

Believers are invited to partake of the Lord's Supper. All are invited to gather at 6 PM for this public worship service.

As always, all of God's people are encouraged to remember the Lord's Day and to make every effort to come to both Morning Worship & Evening Worship.

Can't wait to see you.
