Ministry Opportunity: Sign Up to Be a Greeter
“Greet every saint in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:21a, ESV)
Dear friends,
Sundays are a wonderful opportunity to welcome people to worship. The sorrowful and sad will come looking for hope and joy. The heavy will come looking to have their burden lifted. The rejoicing will come to sing songs of praise. The skeptic will come looking for truth.
The greeter has a real opportunity to be the first person to encourage each of these in the Lord! Greeters stand outside the entryway with bulletin in hand. As each person comes to worship, the greeter will say "hello!" and hand them a bulletin.
If you're a believer, and seeking opportunities to participate in the ministry of Covenant Church, this is for you!
