“Greet every saint in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:21a, ESV)
Sundays are a wonderful opportunity to welcome people to worship. The sorrowful and sad will come looking for hope and joy. The heavy will come looking to have their burden lifted. The rejoicing will come to sing songs of praise. The skeptic will come looking for truth.
The greeter has a real opportunity to be the first person to encourage each of these in the Lord! Greeters stand outside the entryway with bulletin in hand. As each person comes to worship, the greeter will say "hello!" and hand them a bulletin.
If you're a believer, and seeking opportunities to participate in the ministry of Covenant Church, this is for you!
Here's information on the role and ministry of the greeter:
Please sign up to be a greeter using the link below. Greeters are not expected to greet at both services, but you are certainly invited to.
One Other Note!
If you haven't taken the opportunity to leave a Google or Yelp "review," please be sure to do so. We're obviously not like a business looking for customers, but as a church we want anyone who comes across our profile to be encouraged to come and find hope in the Lord.
Please consider leaving a "review" on Google Maps here:
