Grow in Love for Christ
Dear friends,
Not long ago I received an anonymous phone call from a man who was upset that Covenant Church teaches the fact that Jesus is God. The man wanted to convince me that the worship of Jesus is wrong — but he could never, for the Bible plainly teaches that Jesus is God, the second person of the Trinity and fully deserving of our worship.
After that call, I called Dr. Dalcour to talk a little about how he approaches presenting Christ as God to people from the basis of Scripture — and that conversation led to him picking the sermon texts and topic planned for tomorrow's preaching, Jesus as God in John, preached by Dr. Dalcour.
I'm very excited for God's people to gather in the worship of God and to hear this important message, that we may be more equipped to love God better!
Please note: Covenant is gathering for worship at 10 AM only this Sunday. Evening worship will resume, Lord willing, next Sunday, the 17th.
