Speaker, Panelists, and Musician

Josh Squires (Keynote Speaker)

Rev. Josh Squires serves as pastor of counseling and congregational care at First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, South Carolina. He and his wife (Melanie) have five children. He is a regular contributor to John Piper's Desiring God.

Coralie Cowan (Panelist)

Coralie Cowan lived her 20's and into her 30's with infertility, primarily because of undiagnosed PCOS. After 10 years of infertility, and 2 years of active fertility intervention, she experienced the additional heartache of pregnancy loss before carrying a child to term. Coralie is now a mother of 4 children - two as the result of medical intervention, and 2 as complete surprises. She and her husband tell people they had their empty nest first, because their last child, Kara, was born when they had been married 22 years and were in their mid 40s.

Jeremiah Thomas (Panelist)

Rev. Jeremiah Thomas is the pastor of Prosperity ARP Church in Taft, TN. He has pastored churches in several contexts, ranging from a suburban church plant to urban ministry at a historic downtown church to the true rural setting, where cows in the parking lot are a too regular occurrence! He writes many devotions centered on God's Word and records even more "60 second devotions" that are closer to 90 second ones.

But perhaps most pertinent for this bio is the loss of his first daughter (24 weeks in untero), where he stood weeping in the hospital room with his wife, wondering if hope could ever be found again, alongside the miscarriage of his third daughter in the early weeks of the first trimester. God answered this pastor's fearful wonderings in marvelous ways, and he hopes to help each of you, too.

Coco Lewis (Panelist)

Coco Lewis and her husband Charlie, were married several years but unable to become pregnant. So they sought ought a fertility specialist who told them they had unexplained fertility. They began fertility treatments with this doctor but instead God blessed them with a baby boy that they adopted. When their baby boy was several months old they began fertility treatments again and became pregnant with a baby girl during a month when the doctor suspended fertility treatments for medical reasons. God also blessed them with two more boys that they had naturally.

In her free time, Coco enjoys spending time with her family, watching her kids play sports, and going to the beach.

Brooks Pipher (Panel Moderator)

Rev. Brooks Pipher serves as mission developer of Covenant Church (Associate Reformed Presbyterian) in Burbank, California. He also works in the entertainment industry and is a Transportation Commissioner for the City of Burbank. He and his wife Amanda have been married for 12 years.

Andrew Telthorst (Musician)

Andrew Telthorst is a musician from Kansas City living in Los Angeles. Growing up with a mother playing hymns on the piano, he now serves as music director at Covenant Church in Burbank CA, and also works in the music industry playing guitar, recording, and writing songs.
