All the Details for This Saturday!
“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”” (Isaiah 52:7, ESV)
Dear friends,
We have a wonderful opportunity this Saturday to share hope with others.
Here's What's Planned.
This Saturday morning at 10:00 AM, we'll gather at George Izay Park on the "Clark" side.
We'll set up a tent and put out signs offering "Free Prayer" to anyone who would like it. And then we'll pray with any who come to our tent.
Why "Free Prayer?" Because it's good to pray with others — and we want those there to know that we're not asking anything in return.
We'll enjoy snacks and drinks together. And we'll stay at the park until noon.
Don't Know How to Pray Aloud with Someone?
No worries! Come anyway. Dr. Dalcour, or I, or someone else you know from the church will say the words and you can pray silently.
How Will This Go?
I'm not quite sure! I've not done anything exactly like this before — but I'm sure we'll have fun and glorify God, whatever happens!
